I'm in Australia, but the violin arrived in less than a week, which really surprised me. My daughter was so excited when it arrived and started playing it right away.

Unfortunately, the G string broke shortly after she began practicing, so I took her to a nearby music store to get it fixed. After I told Aurora about the issue, they immediately sent us a replacement set of strings.

I bought this violin for my child to see if they have any musical talent and interest in music. Arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. The sound is warm and surprisingly good for a beginner violin. Very pleased with this purchase.

I got this as a beginner violin (going with the self taught route for now) over an acoustic one since electrics produce quieter sound and it wouldn't be a bother to others as I make my way through the dying bird phase. Granted it's not ideal to start with an electric as you don't have the resonance you would have normally to tell how far off your finger placement is but overall it's working out great for me. Customer support has been fantastic, after I ordered it I got an email that the purple one was out of stock but the EX2 comes with black and white and black options that I didn't see on the site so I went with a black one and it would be delayed due to the lunar new year so to make it up they included an extra bow and upgraded some of the extra strings I bought with it to better ones as well as answering any questions I had. Once I get better I plan on buying one of the beginner acoustic outfits from Fiddlover as I've seen nothing but good things about them and I know I'll have excellent customer support If I have any issues or questions.

We bought this 4/4 size violin outfit for my daughter because the previous one size no longer fits. The violin set matches its description perfectly, including the instrument, bow, spare strings, rosin, cleaning cloth, a mute, shoulder rest, also a lovely violin sticker!

This violin is beautiful, well-crafted, defect free. The ebony pegs are easy to use, and the fine tuners work very well. The brand new quality bow is with plenty horsehair, right elasticity and stiffness, do not forget to feed it some rosin before starting! After a quick setup my daughter started playing with it. The sound feels clear and balanced, perfect for practice. Loved gift.

For beginner, it is a strong recommendation. Have your violin learning fun!

Honestly, the first time I heard my daughter play on the Q006 full-size violin, I was speechless. She had been using the Q003 before, and it was fine, but the jump to the Q006 was not subtle at all, the difference was immediately obvious.

She’s at an intermediate level now, working on more challenging pieces, and this violin keeps up with her easily. Shifting into higher positions feels smooth for her, and the sound stays clear and open — never muddy. It has strong projection without sounding harsh.

One time she hit a higher position and just said, “Wow… this sounds so clean.” That pretty much said it all.

Is it worth the price? Honestly, it exceeded my expectations. And the best part? She actually wants to practice more now. That alone makes it worth it.
