Fiddlover Warranty Policy

18-Month Warranty

At Fiddlover, we are committed to providing reliable products and dependable after-sales service. Most of the products we sell come with an 18-month warranty, so you can purchase with confidence.

This warranty is valid for 18 months from the date the product is received and covers defects in materials and workmanship. If a product is found to have a manufacturing defect within the warranty period, we will provide free repair or replacement.

This warranty does not cover consequential damages or damage caused by accidents, misuse, improper maintenance, normal wear and tear, or unauthorized modification.

Warranty Coverage

Most products sold by Fiddlover are covered under our 18-month warranty, except for consumable items.

Products Not Covered Under Warranty

The following items are considered consumables and naturally wear out over time:

  • Rosin

  • Strings

  • Bow hair

  • Violin stickers

  • Other similar consumable accessories

Products Covered Under Warranty

The following products are covered under our warranty:

  • Violins

  • Violas

  • Cellos

  • Double basses

  • Bows

  • Instrument cases and other non-consumable accessories

Warranty Details

String Instruments

For instruments in the violin family (violin, viola, cello, and double bass), the warranty covers non-human-caused structural issues such as:

  • Open seams caused by natural humidity changes

  • Structural defects related to craftsmanship

Because wooden instruments are sensitive to environmental changes, proper care and humidity control are recommended.

Bow Warranty

Bows can sometimes be damaged by accidental drops. For customers who purchase bows separately, we offer a special bow warranty.

Within 18 months of purchase, if the bow becomes unusable due to damage, including accidental damage, we will provide one-time free repair or replacement.

However, the following are not covered under warranty:

  • Bow rehairing

  • Grip or winding wear

  • Cosmetic scratches, dings, or chips

  • Tip replacement

  • Loss or theft

Warranty Service

Repairs within the warranty scope are free of charge.

However, damage caused by improper use or human-caused damage is not covered by the warranty.

Fiddlover will inspect each product submitted for warranty service and determine whether the issue falls within the warranty scope.

Customers are responsible for the shipping costs for sending the item to us and receiving it back.

45-Day Return & Exchange Policy

All customers may return or exchange products within 30 days of receiving the item.

Customers who subscribe to our free membership enjoy an extended 45-day return and exchange period.
