Master Zhang and I met many years ago. Master Zhang has been learning to make bows in a bow shop since he was 10 years old. According to today, it has been more than 40 years. And master Zhang’s son has been learning how to make bows under his father’s guidance for more than 20 years. This is the inheritance of craftsmen. The Heritage Series of bows are all completed under the cooperation of father and son, and are high-end series of bows.

Pernambuco is recognized as one of the most suitable woods for making high-end bows. The B230 violin bow is made of 2-star Pernambuco wood, which has a more sensitive response and a warmer sound. It is a good helper for you to improve your playing skills!

  • Classic black and white metal wire + sheepskin grip
  • Pernambuco wood body, best elasticity and hardness
  • Cupronickel + ebony screws, classic black and white
  • True ebony frog, unpatterned
  • Plastic bow tip, no travel risk
  • Male horse tail hair on the Siberian prairie, 220+ hairs (please note if you need a small amount)
  • Bow weight: 60-62 grams. (need heavier or lighter please note)

Taking care of your violin will effectively extend its lifespan. First wipe the rosin from the violin, bow, string with a polishing cloth (included in most of our outfits) after each play, then place the violin in a case to protect the violin.
Then, pay attention to the humidity and temperature of the environment you are in. The ideal humidity is around 40%, and you need a humidifier when it is dry in winter and dehumidifier when it is wet in summer. Please don’t leave the instrument in the car or outdoors for a long time, the damage to the violin in extreme environments is irreversible. We've seen many violinists leave their violin in a hot car in the summer, and then the paint all melts, irreversible damage to the violin. Read more:Routine care and maintenance of violins and bows.

Well packaged and my bow was well protected, I was worried that shipping would damage it before I received it, but that didn't happen. Thanks Fiddlover
