This is a top-quality cello wooden bow, ideal for intermediate players or those looking to upgrade their bow. After centuries of experimentation, violin makers have discovered that Brazilian wood is the best material for making bows. "Brazilwood" means "red wood" in Portuguese and typically refers to Caesalpinia echinata, though it can also apply to Caesalpinia sappan.

The Fiddlover high-end cello bow B207 is crafted from premium Brazilian wood, offering the unique advantages of wooden bows — warm sound and excellent control.

The bow stick has high stiffness (5100 transmission rate) and resists sideways bending. The hair is made from male Mongolian white horse tail, fine and smooth for consistent play. The wrap is crafted from snake skin, and the frog features the classic Parisian eye design.

Bow Care Guide

Proper care helps maintain your bow's performance and extends its lifespan.

After Playing

Always loosen the bow hair after each playing session and wipe rosin dust from the stick with a soft cloth. Avoid touching the bow hair with your fingers, as natural oils can affect its grip on the strings.

Storage

Store the bow in its case when not in use. Never leave the bow tightened for long periods, and avoid exposing it to direct sunlight, excessive heat, cold, or humidity.

Rehairing

Bow hair naturally wears over time. If the hair becomes dirty, worn, or loses its grip on the strings, have it replaced by a qualified luthier. Rehairing frequency depends on playing habits and usage.

Professional Maintenance

Regular inspections by a qualified luthier can help keep your bow in optimal playing condition and identify potential issues before they become serious.
