Fiddlover Strad 1714 Violin CR7007 – 25 Years Air Dried

18 Jun 2025 0 comments

The Fiddlover CR7007 is a premium-level violin inspired by the legendary 1714 “Soil” Stradivari. Every part of this instrument reflects our commitment to tradition and tone.

This model is handcrafted from tonewoods that have been naturally air-dried for over 25 years. The top is made of alpine spruce, while the back, ribs, and scroll are carved from Bosnian maple. These aged materials not only enhance tonal richness but also ensure long-term stability.

The varnish is applied using pure Italian oil and natural plant-based ingredients. It takes more than 130 days and 60 individual coats to achieve the antique-style finish, which highlights the wood’s natural beauty.

Each CR7007 takes over 200 days to build, using classic Italian techniques such as the purfling-first method. It is fully handcrafted by our experienced luthiers and professionally set up before delivery.

The sound is powerful yet refined — deep in the lower range, clear in the upper register, and rich with overtones. Whether you're a soloist or an advanced student, the CR7007 delivers the kind of performance you'd expect from an instrument inspired by Stradivari’s golden period.

If you're looking for a violin with soul, heritage, and exceptional craftsmanship, the CR7007 is an excellent choice.
