First-time rosin application tips for the bow:

1. You can start by using a metallic object to create a small groove on the surface of the rosin. This will make it easier to apply the rosin.

2. If it's a new bow, you can apply more rosin initially. During regular use, a back-and-forth motion 4-5 times should be sufficient. Adjust the amount based on specific circumstances, but avoid excessive use of rosin.

3. Rosin is a fragile product, so please handle it with care after use. If you store it in the instrument case, wrap it with a box or soft cloth to prevent rosin from scattering inside the case.

 

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Taking care of your violin will effectively extend its lifespan. First wipe the rosin from the violin, bow, string with a polishing cloth (included in most of our outfits) after each play, then place the violin in a case to protect the violin.
Then, pay attention to the humidity and temperature of the environment you are in. The ideal humidity is around 40%, and you need a humidifier when it is dry in winter and dehumidifier when it is wet in summer. Please don’t leave the instrument in the car or outdoors for a long time, the damage to the violin in extreme environments is irreversible.
