Taking care of your violin will effectively extend its lifespan. First wipe the rosin from the violin, bow, string with a polishing cloth (included in most of our outfits) after each play, then place the violin in a case to protect the violin.
Then, pay attention to the humidity and temperature of the environment you are in. The ideal humidity is around 40%, and you need a humidifier when it is dry in winter and dehumidifier when it is wet in summer. Please don’t leave the instrument in the car or outdoors for a long time, the damage to the violin in extreme environments is irreversible. We've seen many violinists leave their violin in a hot car in the summer, and then the paint all melts, irreversible damage to the violin. Read more:Routine care and maintenance of violins and bows.

This is the third purchase. My son needs a 4/4 bow this time. I chose B201 at the suggestion of aurora. We like this bow very much.

It has a good sound quality on violins at different price and quality levels and comes close to matching or in some cases does match the sound quality of more expensive bows.

D
Dominique

For music, you'll find that any extra investment is worth it, and a good bow will make playing easier. You'll know what I mean when you get the bow, it's a great value for money.

If you are a beginner make sure you get a good bow, my last bow was a $30 bow from amazon and it looks the same as this one but plays very differently big. I always thought that my playing skills were not improving, but this bow gave me confidence. Thank you very much!
