Taking care of your violin will effectively extend its lifespan. First wipe the rosin from the violin, bow, string with a polishing cloth (included in most of our outfits) after each play, then place the violin in a case to protect the violin.
Then, pay attention to the humidity and temperature of the environment you are in. The ideal humidity is around 40%, and you need a humidifier when it is dry in winter and dehumidifier when it is wet in summer. Please don’t leave the instrument in the car or outdoors for a long time, the damage to the violin in extreme environments is irreversible. We've seen many violinists leave their violin in a hot car in the summer, and then the paint all melts, irreversible damage to the violin. Read more:Routine care and maintenance of violins and bows.

Cheaply made

Cheap Chinese bow. Overpriced!!! Better off buying a cheaper bow, I have a cheaper bow that actually sounds much better! I ordered this thinking it might be a step up but it is actually a step down unfortunately.
Would not waste my money on anything else from this shop!

I buy all my kids' violin accessories here. For the $300 bows at our local store, I still prefer to buy from fiddlover, except for the difficulty in making a decision for the first time.

I purchased the bow for my 11 year old and his fist violin. I do not have anything to compare this to as I do not play. I think we will purchase again when it is time to replace this one.
