When Spring Arrives, Let the Strings Sing
My name is Z, the founder of Fiddlover.
Fiddlover does not have a glamorous or genius origin story. It is simply a string instrument workshop that has grown step by step over many years.
When I was young, I worked in a violin workshop that was very far from home. Life was not easy, and because I had very little, the only thing I could rely on was hard work. I worked longer and harder than others, and perhaps because of that, I improved faster as a young luthier.
In my thirties, with the support of colleagues who were also close friends, I founded my own workshop and factory. The factory mainly focused on wholesale string instruments, while the workshop later became Fiddlover — a name that comes from fiddler and lover, representing people who truly love violin, viola, cello, and double bass instruments. This direct-to-consumer workshop allows us to connect directly with musicians worldwide.
Today, more than 30 years have passed since those early days. Personally, I have been making string instruments for over 50 years. What began as a job gradually became a lifelong pursuit as a luthier.
Along the way, there were also moments of confusion. At one point, in order to increase sales, we tried producing very low-end string instruments. But the endless after-sales issues quickly showed us that this was the wrong path. That experience helped us define who we are.
Since then, we have focused on mid-range and upper mid-range string instruments, offering the best possible quality and value within the same price range (Buy Better Products With The Same Price). We believe this creates a positive cycle: when customers are satisfied, the company grows; when the company grows, luthiers can focus more on their craft; and when makers love their work, the brand gains real vitality.
Our belief is simple: To Play Is To Express Yourself.
Every form of art is an expression of who you are. It is like the song you find yourself singing in the shower — whether it sounds perfect or not, it reflects your feelings in that moment.
My love for string instrument making has also shaped our team. We are a group of people who truly love music and the craft of making instruments. Through the Fiddlover brand, we hope to pass that passion and professionalism on to our customers worldwide. That is also why more and more musicians are discovering and trusting us.
Our instruments are mainly divided into two series: the Q Series (Queen) and the L Series (Love). Each series is led by a master luthier, and both maintain a very high standard of craftsmanship, though their tonal character and style are slightly different.
Violin bows and famous-instrument replicas are another specialty of ours, and we are able to provide a wide range of custom options for musicians and collectors.
In the end, everything we do comes down to two promises:
1. Excellent product quality and outstanding value.
2. Responsive and reliable service whenever you need it.
We look forward to serving you.
