Taking care of your violin will effectively extend its lifespan. First wipe the rosin from the violin, bow, string with a polishing cloth (included in most of our outfits) after each play, then place the violin in a case to protect the violin.
Then, pay attention to the humidity and temperature of the environment you are in. The ideal humidity is around 40%, and you need a humidifier when it is dry in winter and dehumidifier when it is wet in summer. Please don’t leave the instrument in the car or outdoors for a long time, the damage to the violin in extreme environments is irreversible. We've seen many violinists leave their violin in a hot car in the summer, and then the paint all melts, irreversible damage to the violin. Read more:Routine care and maintenance of violins and bows.

I love this case! It's a beautiful color that looks awesome with my violin. (It is much more vibrant in person vs the pics) The inside compartments hold my bon musica shoulder rest, rosin, mini tuner, mute, etc. Very spacious. The outside pocket holds a few music books I'm studying from. The shoulder strap it came with dug into my shoulders so I purchased the Bobelock backpack straps and they are much more comfortable. It is a little heavy but I just carry it either around my house or to my car so that doesn't bother me. I enjoy all the space it has and the protection it offers to my inherited grandfather's violin. Glad I got it!
